All brothers can be used as ice, so naturally, they can be used as pillows too.
There should be no problem with that.

 

Besides, they now have a good relationship, so there’s nothing really stopping him from accepting his proposal.

Jian Songyi retires back to the bench with his new pillow.
He placed it beside Bai Huai’s legs and laid his head against it.
By bending his legs and closing his eyes, he began to sleep.

The little bugs saw that the Little Rose is tightly covered, so they have decide to leave him alone and change places.
There is another young person who has fine skin and tender flesh anyway.

 

Meanwhile, under his hat, Jian Songyi frowned, but soon enough went back to his slumber right away.

 

Bai Huai received the small pink bumps against his white skin.
It was a little itchy, but he tried not to mind it.
Instead, he looked over at Jian Songyi to muse at him for three seconds.
After a while, he narrowed his eyes and decided to poke the inflatable pillow with a sharp twig that he broke from the bushes next to the bench.

 

As soon as the pillow collapsed, he grabbed the beam and slid himself under his head to change post, placing his thighs in exchange for the pillow.

 

In his sleep, Jian Songyi felt like something went wrong, but without thinking about it too much, he turned over and put his hand under his neck around Bai Huai’s leg.
As his fingertips brushed ever so lightly from the roots of Bai Huai’s leg, Bai Huai took the chance to place his hand over Jian Songyi’s ear.
He then let out a sigh of relief.

 

He thought that if he managed to protect someone then it was just natural to get some love and affection from him.
It’s just fair as that.

 

At least, that’s the excuse Bai Huai played in his mind to trick himself.

 

He has always thought that he is quite self-contained, but recently, he has been unable to bear the fact that some people are flirting with Jian Songyi without knowing it.

 

If he doesn’t know too much about Jian Songyi’s second gender nature, he would most likely also suspect that this person is a high-level Alpha.
But fortunately, if you do the math, he is not really that far in being an Omega either. 

 

Bai Huai covered Jian Songyi’s ear with one hand as he tapped the back of the bench with the other while he was contemplating something.

 

Students from Beta and Omega classes went out for their morning class while the Alpha class took their time to have a rest.

Jian Songyi slept steadily.

 

Once he woke up, he saw the inflatable soft pillow’s dead body on the ground.
He quickly tilted his head and realized that he had been sleeping over Bai Huai’s thigh all this time. 

 

“Wha- Did I do anything again in my sleep?” He asked guiltily.

 

Jian Songyi’s sleep was not good.
He has been like this since he was a toddler, so he could only self-reflect.

 

On the other hand, Bai Huai’s expression didn’t even change.
“It’s alright.
I am not blaming you.
Yang Yue’s inflatable pillow suddenly leaked its air.
It’s just normal to seek a comfortable position while you are asleep… It just so happened that my legs are the ones you latched on.”

 

Jian Songyi quickly sat up and took the hat next to him.
He then placed it over his head to block his face.
“Your legs must be numb when I’ve been sleeping onto it for so long.
Why didn’t you wake me up?”

 

“It’s alright.
You don’t have to worry.
I slept for a while myself.”

 

Bai Huai’s expression and tone were as indifferent as ever, as if nothing had happened.
And because of that, Jian Songyi becomes even more embarrassed.
He is convinced that he is still hot as the night before.
He took advantage of his own unconsciousness to wipe somebody else’s oil.
Jian Songyi looked at Bai Huai through his peripheral view before looking down and hiding his gaze behind the hat that he is wearing.

 

Since Jian Songyi’s upper line of sight is blocked, the only thing that he can see is Bai Huai’s arm that is hanging upon his leg as if it’s just natural. 

 

Jian Songyi lifted the brim of his hat and looked everywhere but Bai Huai.
He needed the diversion or a distraction.
