WHO IS THE ONE INSIDE ME? BONDED WITH SOULS

Eva and Lara were walking towards the hospital and Eva switched on her phone. The moment she did it there were so many missed calls and messages,

she saw David sirs message and quickly opened it, he ordered her to come to the VIP ward directly by 7 oclock. It was 5 minutes to 7 oclock so she needs to rush. She was so busy with her phone that, she didn notice Ben coming. Ben saw her from afar and was waiting to talk to her, at least to say hello.

But Eva was in her world. There were steps near the staff door of the hospital and when she reached there she mistakenly stepped wrong and was about to fall.

Here it goes again, Ben rushed there and held her in his arms… Everything stopped all the nurses, attendees, ward boys, Doctors, almost everyone started staring at them, as if they were watching a movie over there.

Eva got stunned and pushed him back, and ran away.

She thought Why do I keep falling in his arms, I just don want to get involved with these people here but instead, I keep doing..no actually I am forced to do so..uhh I must avoid him no matter what. Ben was confused and asked Lara ”hey whats your name …. Lara right ”

”yes, sir ” Lara replied,

”Why is that, I mean why your friend always runs away seeing me, am I that frightening?? ” he asked,

”no sir not at all.. even I don know why she did that.. actually I think its because of her work now, I mean she is assisting Dr. David, you know about him, he is very strict and she doesn like to be scolded so she is often in a hurry and hardly have time to eat or sleep, ..its not like I am complaining about my teacher, sorry sir she replied.

” no… thats fine for me, I don think its a complaint..so that may be the reason but can she just say hello or sorry or thanks… oh maybe shes really busy for even that, ok ..bye get back to your work ” saying that Ben got back to his office and Lara got back to hers. Eva went straight to the VIP ward where she was ordered to come. After getting in she saw around but couldn find David, sir, I think I came a little earlier than that robot freak.. before she could get happy, David sir came out from the last room ”so you can be happy even for coming late ” he said fiercely.

The cloud over Evas head cleared in seconds, I can win over this robot.. she thought ” sir, are you done with the checking already ?? she asked.

” Do I look like an assistant to you? what will you do, if I do your job? ” he said.

Eva sighed and thought this freak can never talk properly, by the way, why does he always go to the last room, who could be there,

she tried to peep inside the room but was interrupted by him, ”now what? Do you need to be carried to the room one by one ? What are you waiting for? get to work. ” he said

”yes sir!! ” Eva replied..she could only swallow her anger when she was with him. He walked so fast that she had to run along. He stopped suddenly and turned towards her, she was running behind him and couldn stop suddenly and bumped into him, ”you can even walk properly.. and you claim to be a doctor, where are the reports I asked you to prepare ”he said,

she took out the file that was kept in her bag and handed over to him. ”is it done or I have to do it all over again? ”he asked sarcastically.

”it is done sir, I never leave my work behind ” she replied with an attitude.

”Where is your coat? don you know the dress code? as a doctor you must be in your dress code while in the hospital ” said as he started walking again.

Eva stopped there to wear the coat, she took it out and put it on while running behind him. The moment she wore it, she was blacked out, and she felt a strong wind blow through her. When she came back to her senses she was not Eva anymore…. yes she was ERA..!!!! She was confused to see where she was and with a different body and a different look. It was shocking.. she couldn believe what she was seeing.

Before she could sense what was going on David sir called her ”what now come fast ”.

She was surprised to see David sir calling her. She remembered him, it was her favorite David sir, the only one who always supported her… she was so happy to see him again..but she can only hide her feelings as she don know what is happening there, so she followed him in.

After getting in she took the file of the patient, checked the IV, asked the patient if he was fine, and wrote down the report instantly, it was the routine that has to be followed.

But in the case of Eva, David has to instruct everything. David was shocked, he kept calm, she then handed over the report to him and stood beside him. He checked the report and was shocked to see such neat work. He could never imagine that from Eva, for him she was Eva, the good-for-nothing girl, who is not qualified to be a doctor. They both came out of the room and both kept silent. Now they went into each room one after the other and in all rooms, David was surprised to see Evas behavior. She did everything that has to be done, without noticing David, who keep staring at her. When they were done with their work, they went to David sirs office. The era was familiar with that work as she assisted him for a long time back then.

She was trying to understand what was going on, how could it be…I think I am in someone elses body ..just how could it be…is it some kind of magic or blessing, who is this girl and why is she ? she was thinking about these things and following David to his office.

When they reach there, he sat on his chair, he had a habit of drinking warm water after the rounds, when he was searching for his bottle, Era handed over the bottle to him.

He was shocked again, the water was warm, he thought why is she so different today, how did she know that I drink warm water…I don remember telling her..!!, he was thinking that, while there was a knock on the door.

The era opened the door, it was Dr. Ben, ”hi ” he said to Eva

and entered the cabin ”hi bro, how are you today? ” he said to David.

They were good friends with similar personalities, and very professional by nature. The era didn know him, so didn talk about anything. David asked her to leave. So she left. Ben was looking at her with a smile on his face, David noticed that and said ”I never saw you looking like that at anyone before, so the rumors I heard were true ”,

”wait.. what rumors? ” Ben asked, David, smiled sarcastically and said: ” I heard, you are interested in one of the interns this year, you have been smiling for no reason and also seen with girls..so thats true..ha!! ”

” oh ho..wait who said that, when did I smile for no reason? ” Ben said shockingly,

”just now ” David replied, ”you just smiled at my assistant ”.

Ben laughed and said ”uh…I don know why she always runs away when she sees me and that makes me laugh.., anyways, actually I am here to ask a favor ”,

”I know youll never come to me for no reason, what is it now? David asked.

”its just a small favor, two of my students are interested in thoracic surgeries, so I am here to ask you to exchange the interns, ” Ben said,

” well you know I picked my interns myself, and I already have one, that girl, you met her just now, ” said David.

”that is the reason I said it was a favor and by the way, interns are always exchanged among the surgeons to train them, we have to.. whether its now or the next week, right? ” Ben replied.

Though Ben said he was there for his students, he was there for Eva. He didn know but he was already attracted to her.

David was in a confusion, after thinking for a while he said ” ok let them scrub in for the surgeries, ….but to assist, I think she is enough.

Ben was offended by his reply as he thought that David will agree to exchange the interns but now he have nothing to say, he said ”ya ok fine, then Ill take my leave. ” and left the cabin…
