Threat Of The Beasts

My name is Roxanne, I am 30 years old and I am an apostle.

I use the magic of threads, which is very effective in combat at a distance.

For as long as I can remember, there has been nothing but war and blood in this place. I had to watch my fellow apostles die every day.

No one knows why this started, but in the blink of an eye the animals changed so much that they were completely indistinguishable.

My parents died when I was young, so I have very few memories of them.

I only have small memories of what happened that day, but I do remember participating in a ritual my family had with the animals. According to them, it was to maintain the purity of the animals and feed us with their meat.

Something went wrong that day, and I want to remember it, but I can remember it at all, as if the memory is sealed. The only thing I remember is that in an instant, the animals that were there completely lost control.

The completely deformed faces of the beasts, the red and burnt flesh, the bodies that grew to indescribable sizes, the power that completely surpassed human comprehension, the claws that extended like real blades, the fangs so sharp that they tore flesh with a single bite, it was as if I was looking at a living demon.

In the area there were rabbits, moose, pandas, rhinos, horses and zebras, if I am not mistaken, all of them apparently herbivorous animals and completely harmless to the human eye, but that day something happened.

I could see many other things. Then that day I saw a beast jump at me, so I hit my head on the ground and was knocked out for a moment.

After that, everything went up in flames, people ran to save their lives, and I only remember seeing many animals turn into real beasts and devour all the innocent people present.

As I was lying on the ground after the blows, I saw many images in succession.

A man came to me that day and helped me, but I don remember exactly who it was? But it was not my father.

It was a man who looked a little older.

He was a thin man with a beard, dressed as an apostle.

He said, ”Hey girl, you have to get up, or you will die here, react! ”

The man was talking to me so that I could react quickly and leave the place.

At that moment, my body did not react. I guess it was normal.

I was still young at the time…

It was normal that I was in that state because of the blows the beast had given me.

The man noticed that I was unresponsive. So he began to get desperate.

He then began to lightly slap me on the face to make me react.

From behind, one beast, specifically a rhino, slowly began to approach.

In just a few seconds, the beast closed the distance to only a few meters.

There was no way this man could be saved. The beast was already so close to him that he would not be able to defend himself in time. He is just an old man, he had to flee as soon as he had the chance, he would not be strong enough to defend himself.

As soon as the man realized that there was no way I could react, he started crying.

It was totally strange that a man who didn even know me could care about me in this way.

I can even feel his pain.

It makes me so sad when I remember these things.

My face is so numb that I feel like I am about to start crying.

I want to tell this man to run away, but I can , and I can only remember how he died.

The rhino approaches the man and pierces his back with its horn, and you can even see the horn sticking out of the side of his abdomen.

The man made no sound of pain, but just seeing his face was enough. For the moment the rhinos horn pierced him, he was still shocked in the face.

After the rhino stabbed him with the horn, blood instantly flowed out of his abdomen like a small waterfall.

He also began to spit a large amount of blood from his mouth.

The mans blood also began to fall on the area where the rhinoceros had stabbed him with his horn. So much blood flowed from the area that the beasts horns were stained red with blood.

The beast, looking very displeased, began to lick the blood that was slowly dripping from the horns with satisfaction.

The man kept holding out his hand to help me, fighting the pain of being stabbed by its huge horns.

The beast continued to apply force until the mans body could no longer resist, and finally his body broke in two.

Both sides of the mans body fell to the ground and his eyes slowly began to close, obviously lifeless ….

”Can keep looking at this: … ”

I told myself that and tried to stop this memory.

”I want to escape these memories! ”

The beast began to devour the man….

Its foul mouth was completely filled with blood and human remains, but it was enjoying it.

Im so helpless to do anything after seeing all this. …

After the beast devoured the man, it walked towards me.

The beast is already very close to me. I must try to move now.

My body still doesn seem to respond. If I don do this, I will never know what happened that day.

”So what happened that day? Did I just lie on the floor and watch everyone die before my eyes? ”

Her back was turned so I could not see her face, but she was a slender woman with long blonde hair slightly curled and dressed in a very shiny suit.

In each hand she carried a yellow whip, probably a magic whip.

She then extended both whips toward the beast that had previously devoured the man.

He immediately created a kind of trap around the beasts body and began to squeeze it so hard that its body burst under the pressure.

The beast finally exploded, leaving behind a large amount of yellow liquid. It was obviously its mutated blood.

At the sound, the three beasts in the area became alarmed and started moving in the direction of the woman.

The woman extended both whips to the ground.

Then, like snakes, both whips were aimed at the two beasts that approached.

One beast was a panda mutation and the other was another rhino mutation.

As soon as the thread reached the two beasts, they were tied up.

On one side was the beast and on the other side was the beast. So the woman used the weight of both to boost herself up and attack the beast in the middle.

When the woman approached the middle beast, it was a mutant rabbit with a hideous face. She used her face to jump on it.

”It is impressive that this woman can ignore a beast as frighteningly large as three meters and attack it in the same way. ”

This woman has no idea of the horror of being attacked by a three-meter tall rabbit. Even I, who have lived many years and seen many things, would think twice about attacking a rabbit of that height. After the woman got on the head of the terrifying rabbit, she began to attract the attention of the other two beasts. As soon as the beasts knew where the woman was, they started running in the direction of the rabbit; the two beasts pounced on the rabbit as soon as they got to its location. The blows of the rhino and panda began rapidly tearing at the rabbits flesh, and the rabbit began to scream in pain. Because of the beasts low intelligence, they attacked each other, thinking they were hitting the woman. Thus he easily drove one beast away, and now only two remained.

The woman then jumped straight into the pandas chest. The rhino automatically reacted and stabbed the panda in the heart with its horn. It died instantly. Then, with all her strength, she tied a whip to the rhinos horn. Then, using the pressure of the whip, the woman was finally able to remove the rhinos horn. There, she stabbed the mutant rhino in the back with its horn, aiming straight for the heart.

After finishing off those three beasts without flinching, he walked straight at me.

”Is this woman a relative of mine? ”

”The magic he uses is very similar to mine. ”
