Thanks to Diaroze, the Imperial Guards’ formation was disrupted.
With the Calencians waiting for their chance to attack, they immediately use the opening to their advantage.

An Imperial Guard moaned as she somehow managed to parry a strike from the [Van Wolf]’s longsword with her shield.
The Empress’s crest on the shield was scraped off due to the strong impact.

“It’s difficult to tell who’s attacking who isn’t it!”

While screaming with joy, Tersis planted a knee kick on the [Renion]’s abdomen.
Along with a loud crash, the jet-black striker was staggered.

“Time for the finishing blow….”

“You won’t!”

A [Renion-bogen] fired at the [Van Wolf] with its long blaster rifle.

With a red beam flying toward her, Tersis swiftly evaded.

The Imperial Guard corrected her aim and was about to fire her second shot but the next moment, a large caliber shell exploded on the chest of her [Renion-Bogen].
The jet black striker instantly exploded, sending its limbs and armor pieces scattering in all directions.

“Leave the support to us!”

Their morale was tremendously high probably due to the fact that they couldn’t do anything to help while the battle was taking place in space.

The [Van Wolf] was designed to be a duelist.
It’s not a great striker on a battlefield where you can get ganged by multiple enemies but that’s a different story if she has fire support.

With a fierce smile, Tersis accelerated at full speed and sped the crimson Zenith to the first[Renion] like a cannonball.
The Imperial Guard still couldn’t recover from the kick earlier and was defenseless.
With a high-pitch noise, Tersis’s longsword plunged into the abdomen of the [Renion].

Pulling out the sword from the now powerless [Renion] Tersis kicked it away and retreated.
A moment later, several large-caliber grenades land on the nearby mountain surface.
Tersis frowned as shrapnels and ice fragments hit the [Van Wolf].

The enemy bombardment is still ongoing.
They are using the type of explosive that has built-in shrapnels that are powerful enough to destroy a striker within a certain range of impact.
With that kind of firepower, Even an ace like Tersis considers it a threat.

“Strikers aside, their artillery is a nuisance.
Can’t we do something about it?”

Get it through your skull how important you are.”

At the moment, the [Claymore] and [Jetta] are only able to keep up with the [Renion] with the support of each other and ally multi-legged tanks.
No matter how low the morale of the Imperial Guards is, the difference in both machine and pilot’s skills is just too difficult to overcome.

That’s why, Schleer and Diaroze decided on a tactic where their common soldiers stall the enemy [Renions], creating a chance for their Zenith to finish them.
If Tersis and the others leave this theater there’s no doubt that the enemy will break through.

They won’t be satisfied if they are only instructed to stay on the defensive.
