Every time I blinked, the beauty in the mirror blinked back at me.
Indeed, a truly magnificent beauty.

I got a notification that the next chapter of my favourite genre novel was uploaded, so I was reading it frantically, but I was hit by a car while crossing the street inadvertently following the person next to me without checking the crosswalk signal.

When I realized the car hit me, the first thing I thought of was my parents, then my friends, then my dream to become an actor.

And the next thing that came to mind was the novel  which became the main reason that caused my death.

 was a novel that I had started enjoying reading.

Yoo Young, a friend who I met at the same acting academy when I was in high school, recommended that I read it.

‘Soeun, why don’t you read this?’

‘A novel? What is it about?’

‘It’s a Romance Fantasy genre novel called “Flower of Elphida” and it’s fun.
I used to read it alone, but maybe because the heroine has the same name as yours? I wanted to show it to you.’

‘The heroine has the same name as me, you say?’

‘Yes, the heroine’s name is Ji So Eun.
Of course, her name changes after she is possessed, but I think she’s still similar to you.
She likes theatre plays just like you, and she has learned kendo for self-defence since she was young.’

Hearing that the heroine has the same name as me and even what I like and what I learned is similar, I said that I would be more than happy to read the novel.

It was unfamiliar at the beginning as it was the first genre novel that I experienced but I could quickly adapt and read it.

Before reincarnation, the novel  began when a female protagonist with the same name as me regained the memory of her past life when she fell while riding a horse in front of the Imperial Knights to catch the eye of the male protagonist, Caleb Egon.

After the accident, she realized that she had been reincarnated to another world into a Marquis’s household, named Vivian, and felt ashamed and sceptical of her actions.

She was barely reborn as a glorious Marquis’s daughter, but she fell off the horse just to catch some attention from a man!

Caleb, the male lead at the time, didn’t know well because he wasn’t interested in Vivian but she was feeling embarrassed alone and Vivian desperately avoided Caleb by reflecting on her past behaviours.

However, unlike before, Vivian and Caleb never had to face each other properly, but when Vivian decided to avoid Caleb, strangely, the two kept meeting again and again and eventually fell in love.

Looking at the content, I was envious of Vivian.

Because Caleb Egon was really my ideal type, the man I dream of.

In the story, Caleb is so cold that he didn’t pay any attention to other women until he fell in love with the heroine.

In addition, Caleb Egon, who was polite by nature, was always treating Vivian really well when he first met the female protagonist, and even after the relationship progressed.

His personality alone is enough to shout ‘Pass!’, but additionally, he’s so handsome, the youngest duke, the head of the Royal Knights, even known as the best in the Empire.

I saw many main characters in the script I read while dreaming of becoming a musical actor, but I was very excited because I had never ever seen such an ideal character as Caleb.

On the day I read the novel at the recommendation of my friend, for the first time, I couldn’t get up for something that wasn’t related to a musical, wondering what will happen in the next chapters until dawn.
