The Dark Knight Under a Shadow of Moonlight

I remembered when I was in middle school there was this boy.

He was shining, I was amazed by him and I hope I would become like him.

He was like a knight who will bring justice to the world.

I want to be like him.

I want to wander to see the world with my own eyes.

I want to bring justice with my strength.

It seems it was my last moment.

Slowly I opened my eyes.

Podium.

The podium was the first thing I see when my vision was back.

College?

Looking around there wasn anybody except me, it take me a while to realize I was sitting on the long chair they used in a college lecture hall, looking down there wasn a whiteboard instead there was a podium in the back of it was an emblem shaping shield with the tower on top of it and at the peak of it was two moons.

Am I dreaming?

”Damn it ”

Where is she?

Is she doesn come here with me?

With dim light from the crystal lamp on the roof, I searched around but doesn find anyone.

Whatever…

In this situation maybe it was good that she doesn come here with me…

*Ziiiip!*

Sudden zipping noise make me reflect to turn around when I do there was a shadow figure sitting in one of the chairs just like me.

If it was a ghost Im dead…

*Gasp!* Suddenly a shadow figure was gasping for air.

*Cough!!* *Cough!!* *Cough!!*

”Wha— ”

*Ziiip!!*

*Ziiip!!* *Ziiip!!*

Before I could make sure who the coughing figures were, simultaneous zipping noise was echoing all around the room.

What is happening!?

Confused I then took a closer looked at the shadow figure and then I realize they were my classmate.

It looked like we were sinking into this room…

”What happened? ” I asked around after silence filled the room for a while I want to make sure we were on the same page.

”I don know ” replied the handsome young man with a kind aura, the young name was Yoshihama with his handsome face he was pretty popular among the girls.

”We were in the restaurant before and then suddenly our surrounding was dark that when we begin to sinking and when I woke up I was here ” continued Yoshihama

”Yeah we were falling to unknown rooms because we were sinking but where are we? ” a young man with glasses said, and of course, I knew who he was, he was Nakahara from my classmate and a member of the student council, he was a pretty strict person.

”Sigh… Im not finished my drink yet, damn it! ” a young man with an athletic body said, he was Uchimura he was known for his spirit but if you want me, to be honest, he can be an annoying person sometimes.

”Hahaha ” a young girls voice laughing, She was Miya from what I heard her parent was pretty rich but I don believe the rumor that easily.

”We were at the college? ” said Nakahara ”How about we explore the room so we can find some clues ”

*Sigh*

What is happening…

After a while we managed to look around the rooms, like I guess it was similar to a lecture hall in college except there wasn anything related to college but the podium suggesting that it was the room for a meeting, discussing something.

Whoever build this…

It would be a big organization…

and with this many chairs, Im sure it does not just decorate only…

”Oy! everyone I found the door! ” said Uchimura.

”It seems it was the only door in this room ” said Nakahara ”Anyone finds more? ”

”Yep! it was the only one ” said Miya.

”Okay ” said Yoshihama ”It looked like we doesn have much choice this door was our only chance to go out I guess, how about we opened it ”

”Are you sure it was okay? ” I said ”I mean it could be a trap ”

”We already trapped ” said Nakahara ”And besides there isn another way ”

Silence filled the room.

”Okay if anyone doesn have the guts to open the door I would do it ” Uchimura said, with caution Uchimura then grabbed the handle of the door ”One… Two… Thre— ”

”You take too long ” said a young girl with short hair, different from Uchimura who joined the running club Maekawa was joined the archery club from what I heard if wasn because her senior she would be number one at the club.

”You always like this Maekawa! Everybody wants to see the brave Uchimura! ” yelled Uchimura angry

”Just shut up, moron! ”

Fresh air blew to my face as soon the door was opened and behind it was spiral stairs leading to the top.

”That relief… There wasn any trap in there ” said a young girl, she was Nagata always getting good grades she was also a librarian.

”Alright we just need to climb it then ” said Yoshihama

”Sigh… what a bad day ” said a young man gloomily, and he was Murakami he know a lot about computers I don have any idea about computer one bit but when I asked him he know a lot about them.

Yeah, I feel it…

Climbing long stairs would be tiring work…

Our footsteps were echoing each time when climbing another stair, indicating that this room was deeper underground like a banker in war or we were in a tall tower with a strong wall.

”You know ” said a young man on my side suddenly, when I turn aside to look who speaking a young man with glasses with ”Don approach ” aura all over him was on my sight.

”Tanimoto… Sometimes you act like a ghost, you know that ” I said calming my beating heart

”Sorry… I don think you get easily scared Takeuchi ” he said

It was because of these spiral stairs…

”Yeah… ” I said

”You know ” He said again ”This situation was like games I played, the protagonist getting transported to another world! Do you think so too ”

”We getting transport to room ” I said correcting him ”I don know about another world but so far I don see some alien weapons or their gore technology ”

”Sigh… Takeuchi you really had to ruin the mood like that ” he said pretending to be heartbroken

”I just tell you what I know ” I said

”But we getting transport here was magic itself there wasn technology that can transport whole classmates into one room maybe… maybe it was an alien who abduces us so they can sell our bodies ” he said suddenly getting terrified

I mean it was true…

Our technology doesn reach teleportation…

But it was ridiculous if we were getting abduce by aliens…

I mean for what reason…

”I don know… I just hope what you said isn true ” I said headache

I want to go home…

There are a lot of things I haven done yet…

*Sigh*

Fortunately for me that I wasn the only one who is getting transported here with my classmate even climbing these gloomy stairs doesn feel gloomy anymore hearing their conversation is enough to make climbing stairs feel short.

”Alright finally! ” said Yoshihama

The dim corridor greet us when we reach the peak of stairs, there wasn a door or another alleyway alongside it.

”Great! ” said Murakami with sarcasm ”More walking ”

”More walking is great for us! ” said Yoshihama ”Lets go! ”

”Damn! Whoever build this Im sure they were athletes ” said Uchimura while we walked through the corridor.

”Its really scary ” said a young girl with a shaking voice, while holding Miyas hand people can tell that she was attached to her, but of course, my classmates would know that she was her best friend Mizutani.

”Yeah, it was also creepy ” teased Miya.

”Stop that! Miya! ” said Mizutani.

”Don worry about it ladies ” said a young man with confidence ”Because I was here! Hahaha! ”

”Disgusting! ” ”Disgusting! ” both girls said

”Damn that was hurt! ” said a young man hurting, he was Fukuyama I was once borrowing some of his manga because of curiosity but I guess Fukuyamas real talent was doesn feel anything when getting beating by ladies.

My condolences comrade…

After walking for a while we meet again with stairs but it was a short one, like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, at the end of it was light that was too shining to figure out what it is from here.

”I think it was the last one ” said Yoshihama

”Finally! after all this time! ” said Murakami

With each step closer I can feel the outdoors was there.

”Hey wait! ” said Nagata

”Whoa! ” yelled Fukuyama

”Yuuuhuu freedom!! ” yelled Uchimura

”…Everyone you need to see this! ” Miya said after seemingly stunned by what she saw.

”What… Whoa… where are we? ” said Yoshihama

What greeted us was the night view with shining stars in the dark sky, while the blowing of fresh air hitting our bodies two moons between shining stars were shining with bravery.

it was two moons just like the emblem on parliament rooms…

Whatever this is…

It wasn our world…

”It looked like we were getting transport to another world ” announced Tanimoto.
