I hold out the left side of my body covered by the [Woven Armour] roots as a shield as I fly towards the origin matter.

The final stage of our plan is for me to use treant as a shield in an all-out attack.
As long as he’s not in his tree spirit form, he can survive a hit from [Dark Ray].

His role isn’t limited to defence though.

Hollow lines appear where my claws carve through its surface, but they quickly close.
Still, looking at its status, its MP has fallen quite a bit.

I hold my left shoulder out towards a beam of darkness as it shoots towards me.

At his current level 91, he has 4408 HP and 2011 defence, placing him about equal to me, despite me being Legendary rank.
In addition, he has a bunch of skills that help when he’s attacked.
His defence while in [Immortal Revival] is even higher, and should surpass my own.

The [Dark Ray] bores into him.

Fragments of root shatter and fall to the ground.
The blue moss of [Immortal Revival] scatters into blue dust.
A clean hole is left behind from the beam’s destruction.

『A-as long as I don’t take multiple in a row, I’m fine…』

Treant replies, slightly apprehensively.
But, his true power is in what’s about to come.

His woven body shines with light, and black beam shoots outs from his main body on my back.

『I’m returning the favour!』

The black beam of light curves through the air to slam into the origin matter.
Its body shakes from the impact.
