Everyones eyes widened.

”Is that why you told us not to bring anything? ”

”Yeah, ” sighed Akshan, ”I don know why there is both a king and a queen here. The nine sons of doom should merely be a plaything to just the man in the navy suit. ”

”Does that mean they were meddling in something bigger than we might have thought? ”

”I don know. But we survived. ”

”I really don know why we are afraid of them. I mean they have guns and we have some too. We could at least take out a few, ” said one of the men.

Suddenly the focus shifted to him. He was a counselor, called Azashi.

Akshan laughed at his words, which brought more confusion to the others. ”Have you killed, as many people as they did? ”

”No, but they are still human, ” Azashis voice was firm.

”Ha, ” Akshan stood up sighing, his hand reached under the bed and he pulled out a gun. ”Here, go. ”

The counselor didn move, clenched his teeth madly.

”No, don give me that look. They are still probably in the city. You have the element of surprise. One shot before they find you. You can get one, right? ”

Fucker, thought the man, ”Yeah, ” he took the gun from Akshans hand.

The don turned to the others. ”From now on, Azashi is out of Scarlet Arch. ”

Azashis eyebrows twitched. ”I am not leaving. ”

”No, you are. Your actions will create a war. If you manage to survive. You are welcome back, ” smiled Akshan. ”If someone wishes to follow you, they are welcome to. ”

”Really, ” scoffed Azashi. ”I never knew there will come a day when the leader of the Scarlet Arch will be afraid of an enemy. If you are obeying the rules of others, then why don you obey the government all the same no? Why don we become nice citizens instead? HM? ”

Akshan didn respond and went to open the door for him, with a smile.

Azashi chuckled. ”Truly a shame. We should all leave, the don wants to have a quiet time, with his little daughter again. Maybe play house like good people. ”

Everyone put their heads down. Aren we mafias?

Some of the men stood behind Azashi, they seemed already sure and already of his side, while the others were still in the middle of fighting their thoughts.

But a few of them had their hands on guns that they picked up from around the house, hidden places, waiting if Azashi will take an action against Akshan.

Jessy looked around worried about her father, Are they going to overthrow him?

She was truly scared.

Azashi smirked and walked to the door, ”The don has gotten old. Follow- ”

TSST!

A silent noise.

Azashis body functions immediately stopped and he fell to the ground in a flash.

A shot directly to the head.

TSST! CRACKS!

Another one, but this one seemed stronger as if they were many shots at the exact same time followed by the shattering of the glass windows.

A dozen corpses fell to the ground.

The men who had their hands on the guns screamed and held them out, rushed out to protect Akshan, and stood around him.

They were confused after a few seconds nothing happened.

Jessy had her hand on her mouth again, not daring to make a sound, mostly because the looks on the dead bodies with a bullet piercing their foreheads made her terrified and about to puke her dinner.

Her legs gave up on her and she almost fell off the stairs, luckily she held herself, but now she could see the scene clearly.

Suddenly a couple of knocks were heard on the side of the door.

The men peaked with their guns, Jessy did too, and there was a masked man.

The mask looked like that of a demon, covering his entire face, giving no light to his eyes as if there was only darkness behind it.

His shoulders were broad, he was wearing all black, and his equipment stand bulletproof vest covered his entire body looking too heavy, but with his tall stature and his massive body it didn matter to him.

”Masks of dusk? ” Said one of the men as he put his gun down hurriedly.

”Fool what are you doing they just killed half the men! ” The other screamed and held his gun straight against the mask.

The masked man remained silent, not moving.

Jessy was also surprised and stricken in fear, but suddenly…

”Walk down the stairs, ” spoke a deep voice behind her.
