Turning back, she pulled out her textbooks and notebooks one by one from her backpack.

She opened up one of her notebooks and, on there, it was not Gu Xi’s notes from class but a list that she had created.

“What is this?” asked Dong Mingming curiously.

“My study plan,” replied Gu Xi.

On it was Gu Xi’s 2-year study plan.
It was further divided into current plan for this semester and future plans.

Within the current plan, it contained more than just the curriculum at school.
Gu Xi also listed out all the professional knowledge that she wanted to acquires, the professional publications that she wanted to read, and all the examinations and competitions.

Her ultimate goal was to get into NTN.

Gu Xi shared her plans with Dong Mingming generously as she noticed Dong Mingming’s curiosity.

Looking at jam packed list, Dong Mingming also felt dizzy.

Was this even feasible?

Dong Mingming couldn’t help but thought to herself that she already felt hollowed out from school work alone and, here, Gu Xi had assigned herself so much more additional learning plans.
Not to mention that they all looked high tech.

She had no idea what were Tiit and ETP courses nor had she ever heard of SSN and QN competitions.
Nevertheless, she could comprehend “Get into NTN” at the very end.

“So, this whole plan was for you to get into NTN?”

“That’s right.” Gu Xi nodded.

Dong Mingming’s eyes shifted a little upon hearing that and she had a peculiar look on her.

“Can’t you just get into NTN whenever you want?” Why do you need to put so much effort into it?

Dong Mingming gave Gu Xi a blue look as she mumbled.

Gu Xi’s father was, after all, the chairman of NTN.
The entire technical center practically belonged to the Gu Xi’s family.

Dong Mingming was greatly surprised when she first found out that Gu Xi’s father was the legendary Gu Shao.
She couldn't help but lamented: Surely there was a boss dad who provided all the amazing genetic materials behind every genius girl.

Gu Xi shook her head, “It’s not as easy as you may think.”

NTN’s future security system was no ordinary project.

As the two chatted, Gu Xi’s phone rang all of a sudden.
Someone was calling her.
Startled, Gu Xi quickly fished out her phone and turned it off.

Gu Xi had all but one friend in her QQ account and she normally would not get any messages at this hour.
As such, it had never occurred to her to set it to silent mode.

“Who was it?” asked Dong Mingming casually.

“Oh, someone that I met at a competition,” explained Gu Xi.
Looking at her phone, it was a voice chat request from [AAA].

He sent over a text in the next second: [I butt-dialed you.]

Gu Xi responded with a [That’s fine].
Giving it some more thought, she switched all of her software to DND state during school hours.

Over on the other side, Sheng Xiuyan was staring at Gu Xi and his look went from nervous and holding onto one last hope to despair in just two seconds.

The way he looked at Gu Xi, too, was odd.
Odd with a hint of despair.

–– It’d appear that they were the same person.

Thought Sheng Xiuyan to himself.

Recalling all the nonsense that he had babbled to her in the past plus all the rave that he had given [X], Sheng Xiuyan just felt super embarrassed.

He would certainly bury himself in the ground if only there was a hole in front of him.

Those around him had no idea what was going through his mid but, seeing that Sheng Xiuyan was “peeking” at Gu Xi again, they couldn't help but started gossiping.
