As Priya and Arav continued to dance, they fell into an easy conversation. Arav was funny and charming, and Priya found herself laughing and enjoying his company more and more.

Arav was tall and handsome, with dark hair and piercing eyes. He had a strong, muscular build that was evident even through his well-tailored suit. He exuded confidence and charisma, and Priya found herself drawn to his charm and wit.

”So, what do you do? ” Priya asked, curious about this mysterious and intriguing man.

”Im a journalist, ” Arav said, his eyes sparkling. ”I write for the local paper, exposing corruption and injustice wherever I find it. ”

”That sounds dangerous, ” Priya said, a hint of admiration in her voice.

”It can be, ” Arav admitted. ”But its also thrilling. Theres nothing like the rush of uncovering the truth and holding the powerful accountable. ”

As they continued to talk, Priya felt herself drawn to Aravs passion and intensity. He was unlike anyone she had ever met, and she found herself wanting to know more about him.

”So, what about you? ” Arav asked. ”What do you do besides attend boring parties? ”

Priya felt a flash of embarrassment. She didn have a career or a purpose like Arav did. She was just a wealthy socialite, with no real passions or interests.

”I… I don really do anything, ” Priya admitted, feeling self-conscious. ”I just go to parties and events, and help with my parents charity work. ”

Arav looked at her with a mix of surprise and concern. ”That doesn sound very fulfilling, ” he said gently. ”You deserve more than that, Priya. You deserve to have your own passions and dreams. ”

Priya didn know how to respond. She had never thought of her life in those terms before. But as she looked into Aravs eyes, she felt a spark of curiosity and excitement. Maybe he was right – maybe she did deserve more.

As the party came to an end, Arav asked for Priyas number. She hesitated for a moment, but then she took out her phone and handed it to him. She didn know what the future held for them, but she was willing to take a chance and find out.

After the party, Priya went home feeling conflicted and uncertain. She had enjoyed her time with Arav, but she also felt guilty for betraying Raj. She knew that she was still expected to marry him, and she didn want to hurt him. She decided to put Arav out of her mind and focus on her relationship with Raj.

The next morning, Priya received a call from Raj. He was apologetic for missing the party, and he asked if she wanted to meet up for lunch. Priya agreed, feeling a sense of relief and guilt. She knew that she had to be honest with Raj, but she didn want to hurt him.

When they met at their favorite café, Raj was his usual charming and affectionate self. He talked about his work, and asked Priya about her day. Priya listened and nodded, trying to keep up her end of the conversation. But she couldn shake the memory of Arav from her mind.

After lunch, Raj suggested that they go for a walk in the park. Priya agreed, and they set off towards the green space. As they walked, Raj reached for Priyas hand, and she let him take it. But she couldn help but feel a sense of disconnection, as if she was going through the motions of a relationship that she no longer felt.

”Priya, is something wrong? ” Raj asked, sensing her distance. ”You seem… different, somehow. ”

Priya felt a surge of guilt and fear. She didn want to lie to Raj, but she also didn want to hurt him. She forced a smile and shook her head.

”No, Raj, everything is fine, ” she said, trying to sound convincing. ”Im just a little tired, thats all. Im sorry if Im not very good company today. ”

Raj looked at her skeptically, but he didn press the issue. He squeezed her hand and gave her a reassuring smile.

”Its okay, Priya, ” he said, his voice gentle. ”I understand. We all have off days. Lets just enjoy the rest of our walk and not worry about it. ” Priya nodded, feeling grateful for Rajs understanding.
