Chapter 10 “短小如我 / Short as Me”

  When Qin Mu was going to bed that night, the system that hadn’t moved for several days suddenly said coldly: [Don’t forget your mission in this world.
]

    Qin Mu rolled his closed eyes and quipped back: “Yes, slag child?”

    System: [Why do you want to provoke irrelevant people? ]

    “Irrelevant people,” Qin Mu opened his glossy ink-like eyes in the darkness of his room, “are you referring to Gu Qin?”

    System: [……]

    Qin Mu closed his eyes for the final time and shifted to place both of his arms behind his head.
Eventually, he replied in a casual and sleepy tone: “I did this to fill Su Hanyu’s pain value earlier.”

    System: [Before you go to the next world, remember to deal with the peach blossoms you provoke.]

    “Rest assured, I’m not like some people dragging their feet.”  Qin Mu chuckled a bit, and so on for the purpose of their mission, he should break up with Gu Qin sooner than later.

    As soon as Qin Mu went out, he saw Gu Qin standing in the doorway and the light sunlight cast on his tall and slim figure drew a handsome silhouette.
Seeing him come out, the youth’s eyes brightened and he shifted as if to walk towards Qin Mu.
Then young man hesitated after a step then stopped and stood quietly on the spot, waiting for Qin Mu to walk towards him.

     Qin Mu strode forward, his eyes lingering on the youth’s elegant face, and asked knowingly.”Why are you here?”

    The young man lowered his eyes, his long black eyelashes looked soft like feathers but his voice was as just as cold as before, “I’ll give you a ride to work.”

    “Oh?” Qin Mu deliberately prolonged the tone, and the smile on his face deepened.
Hearing the joke in his tone, Gu Qin’s face stiffened, and he turned around first.
The driver was waiting patiently by the side of the car.
Gu Qin walked over to the car door, bent over, and entered in one smooth motion.
He turned to Qin Mu who was still behind him: “Get in the car.”

    Qin Mu fought a smile as he followed Gu Qin into the car, and sat alongside the young man in the back seat.
The atmosphere in the car was a bit too quiet.
This young man beside him was an intriguing puzzle.
Qin Mu patted the seat approaching the topic.
“This car is good ah.”

    Gu Qin: “Do you like it?”

    “Ah.”  Qin Mu said non-committal, the next moment heard Gu Qin’s voice say flatly: “Then I’ll gift it to you.”

    “Huh? ” Qin Mu turned his head in surprise.
He had heard him right, right? The young man’s eyes were clear and quiet as he looked at the man without blinking, “Don’t you like it?” “

    Gu Quin looked completely serious and not as if he was joking.
Qin Mu’s eyes flashed, and from the bottom of his heart tried to guess whether the young man was testing him.
Then he raised his eyebrows amusedly, “Why do you want to gift me a car?” He won’t be polite to him.

    Gu Qin: “We are in a relationship now, this is a good meeting gift.” After that, he seemed to have thought of something.

    ” Red.” The more attention-grabbing, and dazzling the better.

    “I see.” The young man nodded and hesitated, stretching out his hand to Qin Mu.
Qin Mu originally thought that the young man was going to touch his face, but the white hand changed direction halfway, and finally fell to his ear.
The earlobe was squeezed lightly, and Qin Mu raised his eyes in a daze.
The young man had already retracted his hand, only the white ear tips were left with a light pink color.

    “What you like in the future, remember to tell me.
“

    After saying this, Gu Qin no longer looked at him but turned his gaze out of the window.
For the rest of the drive, the young man kept turned to the window.
Qin Mu wanted to laugh, but he was afraid of hurting the sensitive and arrogant heart of the young man.
So he smiled all the way and occasionally leaned his body on Gu Qin’s like he was not paying attention.
It made the young man’s body stiffer and stiffer before he finally stopped.

  What to do, he seems to like to bully Gu Qin more and more.
