it did.

“I hope you don’t have to use the bow, My Lady.” Prince Victor said as he rode the carriage with Isabella.

“This bow can be pretty useful, Your Highness.
Don’t worry too much.
I just brought it in case I had to protect someone.”

“Allen is so lucky with the people around him.
His nephew, Prince Kyle, is reliable.
He also has a lover who is excellent at making medicine and shooting arrows.” Prince Victor joked.

Isabella flashed him an awkward smile, knowing that the Prince just wanted to break the nervous tension in the atmosphere.

Their carriage departed, and the Knights from the South rode their respective horses as they followed behind them.

As they approached the boundary with the reinforcements, Isabella heard strange, frightening roars carried by the strong winds.

Prince Victor settled the carriage as far away as possible from the chaos before they got out and walked towards the borders while carrying the medicine boxes in their cart.

“You must walk behind me, Isabella.
If you get hurt, I might never see Allen again.” Prince Victor warned her, and Isabella slowly nodded.

Isabella’s body staggered while moving in the direction of the strong wind.

The medicine box almost flew away, and she immediately seized it.

She followed Prince Victor with all her might for about twenty minutes.

From a distance, Isabella could see Archduke Kyar’s and Kyle’s backs while both of them breathed cold air.

The magical beasts pouring out of the border froze the instant they inhaled the ice.

However, an endless stream of magic came out of the boundary.

The magical beasts who weren’t frozen were trying to kill the rest of the knights.

At first glance, Duke Kyar seemed to be holding out well, but if this powerful being would collapse right now, this war was over.

“Allen!”

Prince Victor shouted Duke Kyar’s name, and the latter’s face hardened.

He slowly looked over his shoulder.

Duke Kyar’s gaze stopped on Isabella’s face when he found her standing next to Prince Victor.

“You’re so disobedient, Isabella.” Duke Kyar said as he turned his head again, freezing the magical beasts springing out of the circle.

“Hang in there for a while, Allen.
I’ll try to stop them with the knights I brought.
The Imperial Household’s reinforcements will arrive soon.”

Prince Victor said as he gestured at the knights standing behind him.
