Elysia: The Royal Concubine

Excerpt: The murder

Drip… Drip… Drip…

Blood was flowing down from the blue-haired mans sharp-looking sword stood at the center of the black area. Although the place was gray, his clear hair was visible. His blue gaze rolled towards the girl on the ground and his feet turned to her.

It was Elysia, a brown-haired girl. She was sobbing, kneeling on the ground. Her pretty hair has become messy and her lips were dried out. Her grey eyes have turned black, without any light in them. Her face was pale as she watched the corpse of a woman and a man beheaded while she was shaking.

The room was gloomy with an overwhelming aura. It had enough light to light up the crime scene.

Yes, a murder. But there was no one in power to stop it. A monarch killed someone, but no one could afford to oppose him. He was too strong even if he fought alone against a whole army. He was a war god, and his power couldn be tested by just anyone.

The female wasn sure if it was to reassure her or to threaten her, but she hated this man. He killed her family. She could never bring herself to forgive him!

”Get ready for the wedding. ” The male whispered against her ear gently.

The girl was glaring at him with a frown on her face as she clenched her hands tightly. She couldn hide her anger anymore.

”Don give me that face. ” The man stood up as he sighed. ”Ill make sure its a decent wedding even if its a royal marriage. After all, theres nothing between us but politics. ”

”I don want to marry you. I have no reason to! You killed the reason I had to live. Now you ask me to obey your orders?! ” The brown-haired woman yelled at him.

The man glared at her with a smirk on his lips.

”Oh, I think theres something you didn understand. Im
