Everything was dark. Arthur was about to try one billion cycles but them he suddenly found himself in complete darkness.

Am I dead?

He couldn help but have such thoughts, after all thats the first time he experience something so strange, it was so unreal…

”The mind is the way. ”

Arthur suddenly heard a voice coming from nowhere before something fantastic appeared in front of him.

”With a strong mind everything is reachable. ”

A wondrous rain appeared in front of him. It was splendid, with stars working as neurons and the brain itself was like a galaxy. A brain made of the cosmos, it was the best description.

And the unknown voice seemed to be coming from it!

”Transcendent Mind Emperor is my name. ”

Arthur did not understood what was going on.

Am I dreaming?

”What.. ”

Arthur opened his eye and was confused

What is going on? Did I had a dream? Why was it so realistic? And above all, what happened to my face?!

After waking up, Arthur choke with some blood and quickly realized that something was wrong. Then he immediately left the capsule and rubbed his hand on the face only to realize that it was blood!

”What the… ”

He was ready to start cursing when his silver eyes sudden lit up with realization and joy.

”It worked… I made my soul react! ”

Arthur was full of joy because his 3 years of hard work finally gave fruits.

He then quickly ran to the bathroom and started to wash his face.

While he was washing his face he looked at the mirror to see how his face was, but he received another surprise.

”! ”

He continued to wash his face while staring at his bright eyes, and when he finished he suddenly shouted.

”What happened to my eyes? Why are they silver and bright?… Wait, what exactly happened to me? ”

Arthurs appearance wasn much flashy. He was a handsome man with dark brown eyes and hair. But it seemed to have changed.

His eyes now was a bright silver that was full of life, it was too supernatural.

And it wasn all. Now that Arthur was more calm he could sense that all his five senses became drastically stronger, it wasn something that was in the level of a normal human, but above!

And also… he could sense something else!

”Calm down Arthur, one thing at a time. First lets see the results of the experiment in the computer. ”

Arthur then quickly headed to the main computer and started to look at a series of data, including the recordings!

First he found out that nothing had changed in the firsts experiments, but when it was the Hundred thousand cycles of Turn off and turn on the firsts changes started to appear.

Internally his body started to pass through great changes, principally what was related to the five senses.

Externally he could see a little of blood coming out his nose, which scared him a little because he couldn feel it!

The experiments continued and the more Arthur saw the changes in the data and the more he saw the stranger was his facial expression.

It was because every single change caused to Arthur wasn something that shouldve occurred. Because of how illusory the soul seemed to be Arthur wasn waiting much reaction from it, it was a great surprise that he seemed to reach the jackpot.

His gains was much greater than he though when he recognized the existence of something which he always denied the existence of… MAGIC!

The only thing that could explain what happened to him was magic!

He soon gave up looking at the computer and instead started to focus on himself.

What exactly happened to him?

With a question mark on his head he started to put his head to work!

”All my senses was highly enhanced. ”

”My eyes turned bright silver. ”

”The sound of something breaking. ”

”The strange dream. ”

”My mind also was enhanced. ”

”The strange sensation that I have since I woke up… is it my… soul? ”

Arthurs eyes suddenly released an even brighter light. He seemed to have made a shocking discovery after putting everything together. Many theories that he had about the human body showed up and he seemed to finally had understood everything when a word came out his mouth.

”Limiter. ”

A term which refers to the limit of ones being. There are many theories about what it is and where it is, but there are one thing they all have in common. After breaking the limiter ones will be through great changes.

”I broke my soul limiter, that is the most suitable answer. The only thing I don have the slightly understanding is the dream I had, what exactly was it? ”

Arthur wanted to immediately start a round of heavy research on himself but he was feeling too tired for it. It seemed that the process of breaking the limiter took too much energy from him.

But he wasn going to leave like this. He put his hand on his eyes and smiled.

”I will need to hide it from others for now. Luckily I have dark glasses in my bag, I love how cool they are. ”

Arthur then quickly changed his clothes to a casual light blue t-shirt and dark jeans pants before putting his dark glasses.

He left his laboratory and immediately locked it.

In the way out he was very uncomfortable because of his great enhanced senses. He also met many fellow researches.

”Hi Mr. Sigeel. ”

”Good afternoon Harry. ”

”Hello Dr Arthur. ”

”Hi Albert. ”

It continued till Arthur reach the end of the building, but hen he was about to leave he heard the voice a certain someone.

”Arthur wait, is everything ok? ”

The voice was strong and full of worries, and it could only belong to…

”Hi Sam, it is everything ok, I am just I little tired. ”

Arthur answered with a nervous smile while thinking.

Trouble is coming

”You tired? Ok I will buy that my friend. But why are you using dark glasses? ”

Sam asked with a suspicious gaze.

Sam was like Arthur 6 feet tall. He had light brown hair and eyes.

”Because I want. ”

Arthur said sharply and quickly left to his car.

While he was leaving, with his enhanced hearing he could hear Sam murmuring…

”He is definitely hiding something… ”
