Clay and Sans walked towards the huge flower gate. The inside of the gate was filled with floating yellow particles giving it a surreal look.

”Hold your breath when going in. ” Warned Sans.

Taking a deep breath Clay walked in the gate as Sans followed him. Passing through the particles they entered the flower dimensions.

As Sans ran out of the dimensions Clay plopped his butt on the soft ground and started thinking of other common knowledge he had taken granted for. After a few minutes, Sans came running back with a normal long sword in his hand.

”Here is your 18th birthday present. Its a modified adamantine Miao Dao with fire runes etched inside the blade. ” Smiled Sans.

”Wow this is amazing and, also expensive, how did you get this for me. ” Said Clay as he took the sword in his hand and unsheathed it.

”I got it from killing a girl. ”

”… ”

”What why? Did she try to attack you? ”

”Yea she thought with this fire sword she could easily kill me and she almost did but I managed to get the sword stuck with my shield and slashed at her neck. It was a scary moment and if didn have the benefit of being undead I wouldve died. ”

”Why didn you tell me when was this? ”

”A few days ago. You were already worried about getting blessed so I thought I would tell you later. ”

”Um understood. ” Mumbled Clay

”You better be careful using that sword its very annoying to use. ”

”Also the girl I killed had that snake gang tattoos so that sword could bring you trouble. ”

”Got it, lets get to killing now shall we. ”

While waking on the flower field Clay was thinking, I underestimated the change Sans went through when he became a skeletal knight. I wonder how I would react to killing a human being. I know I will have to do it in the future, a lot of hunters are killed by other hunters for their gear and so many more trivial reasons. Then there is my technological affinity that can only increase with killing humans because the technological dimension needs at least a mid-rank and reaching c rank will take me at least a year even with my broken as I expect the affinity percentage to exponentially increase.

”Yo look its a group of flower gremlins. ”

Flower gremlins were short goblin-like creatures with necks covered in petals and filaments.

”How do you want to do this. ”

”Lets test out your gift ”

”Isn it too risky, you haven practiced with it?

”Don worry I will not use the runes only the blade and I had a lot of practice with such blades. ”

”Understood. ” Nodded Sans. ”So whats the plan. ”

”They don have long-range us two are enough to take them on. The terrain is also simple so we don have any other options. ” Analyzed Clay using his school-taught experiences.

Sans and Clay ran up to their enemies in a pincer move. As the flower gremlins saw the two against running towards them, they hurriedly went in a triangular formation. Sans was faster than Clay and reached the flower gremlins first. He swung his sword beheading a gremlin then he quickly pulled his shield up blocking a knife from a gremlin, using the shield to break the gremlins stance Sans forced his sword into the gremlins head killing it instantly.

Clay finally reaches the gremlins. 3 gremlins try to surround him but CLay quickly does a forward lunge with his sword poking a gremlin through its eye. He then pulls the sword out and does a horizontal slash beheading another gremlin. The last gremlin dashed toward Clay with its knife out trying to take him down with him but suddenly Clay is replaced with a giant man covered with blood the man was holding a big fat machete. Seeing this person the gremlin freezes.

*Puchi*

Clay stabs him in the eye. Clay is completely different now he is covered in translucent black snake scales that make him look disorienting. Clay was using {Scales of illusion}. With this ability, he could blend with his environment or turn it into the lookers biggest fear.

Clay and Sans easily massacred the whole group consisting of 13 gremlins.

”So this is your blessing? I saw how the gremlins would freeze looking at you. ”

”Guess its time to tell you about my blessing. ”

Clay told Sans the same thing he told his mom. He wondered if he should tell Sans the full truth so that when they party together he can use his full power but he chose not to cause he knew Sans and he wouldn party much in the future. As Clay to make well use of his blessing will have to travel all across the galaxies and go to different dimensions.

What about Tina then? She might go with me but there is no way her parents would. I will tell her about my plans the rest is her choice.
